Join us at DevCore Boston on February 11th, 2015

Coming up in February, Michael Perklin and myself will be speaking alongside Patrick Murck of the Bitcoin Foundation, to discuss how we can build standards together to help mature the cryptocurrency space.

In addition to our speaking slot at DevCore Boston, we also have space to run a workshop designed to answer any questions about our personnel certifications. We will even have a lab set up so that you can come write your Certified Bitcoin Professional exam in person and head home with your certificate in hand.

The most exciting part of this for us is that we will also be using this time to administer a candidate exam for the Certified Bitcoin Expert certification. If you plan to attend the conference, and consider yourself to be extremely knowledgable in Bitcoin, we welcome you to come take the candidate exam and provide us with your feedback so we can ensure the exam accurately measures expert knowledge. Although we will not be officially certifying people based on the results of this candidate exam, anybody who completes it and provides feedback will receive a considerable discount when the CBX is ready, as well as a public nod as a contributor.

Depending on the feedback received, your exam results may still be used to certify you rather than a full re-test. This will not be known until all feedback has been considered by the exam committee.

A huge thank you goes out to the Bitcoin Foundation for welcoming us to this event. The line-up is extremely exciting and we are thrilled to be a part of it.

See you there!
